11 Days 11 Hours 20 Minutes

I downloaded a countdown on my computer, I might have reached obsessive but as the title says 11 Days till I get on the MV Explorer at 8:00 in the morning (we might have to set just a couple of alarms). Anyway now that my mom threw a Bon Voyage party and I only have three days left working with my students, it's starting to get real.
There are a few things left to do such as some currency exchange, finish shopping, and pack my life for three and a half months into a suitcase, as well as move my little sister into college for her freshman year!!

18 Days Left in NF..

Hi Guys! As everyone probably knows already I leave August 28th to travel the world with Semester at Sea. Since I've had many requests to keep everyone updated I thought this would be a good way to do it. As of now I have my passport, visas, class schedule, some trips, and exactly 4 malaria pills. Still working on that last one...







the ITINERARY for the trip is:

• Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
• Cadiz, Spain
• Casablanca, Morocco
• Accra, Ghana
• Cape Town, South Africa
• Port Louis, Mauritius
• Chennai, India
• Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam
• Hong Kong / Shanghai, China
• Yokohama / Kobe, Japan
• Honolulu / Hilo, Hawaii, USA
• San Diego, California, USA

so far the TRIPS that i have planned are:

• Morocco-Marrakech & Camel Trek in the Sahara (and camping)
• South Africa- Three-Day Safari in the Kruger National Park
• India- Taj Mahal & Varanasi
• Viet Nam- I'll be taking a trip to Cambodia: Phnom Penh & Angkor Wak
• China- Hiking on the Great Wall 4 days/3 nights
  

and although i have to sign up for 1 more CLASS right now i have:

• Global Studies (mandatory)
• Women and Islam
• World Music
• Social Control and Deviance
